Good day $Altcoin family,

We wanted to do an official update on our project and our development.

First, I want to clear out some rumors.

• Yes, we are still moving forward
• Yes, the NFTs are finished
• No, it’s not a dead project

So where do we stand on things? Zach and I have been working with developers to bring different projects to market for you, our community. To say it has been very stressful is an understatement. There is a fundamental problem in the crypto world, a very dark seeded “what’s in it for me?” We have worked with many different people offering different services and have been burned many times by people promising to deliver and coming up short or just disappearing all together. This has led us to making promises based on those people and then having to scramble to find alternatives when they don’t perform. It is amazing how much coding Zach has learned just to identify when people are bullshitting.

So where does that leave us today?

Let’s start with the NFT’s. They are finished by the artist; all the base images and accessories are complete ready to go into the marketplace and be generated.

The Marketplace, NFTHarbor.io

We just fired the developer. In full transparency we were promised it would be delivered fully functional in January. Then he kept pushing back then no communication then a promise of another date and so on. I finally had enough and fired him, we spent enough time and money there. So, we are currently looking for a new web3 developer. I have a call with one in LA next week or so who was a referral. If you know anyone that is responsible, reliable, and good communicator please refer them.

Video Game development.

We had been putting all our focus on the marketplace, the game dev is supposed to be funded by the marketplace, without that we can’t hire the team for that so far. We have identified the team, been building the world ourselves in Unreal engine 5, we have created several cinematics but feel that we want to put the experts in place to deliver the best real game trailer. The development of the game will cost about $2M and that’s not self-fundable with what Zach and I make. That is why we started Altcoin was to develop the funding for the game.

Mydleman

Mydleman’s development will follow the completion of the NFT Marketplace. It has been outlined and ready for a developer to get started. We feel it should take a solid 60 days of development once started full time.

 

So, with all this said here is our plan moving forward.

About Telegram and Discord.

The community forums are for the community by the community, we will check in from time to time but the stress of constantly answering the same questions. We will post regular updates on our website when progress is made. We will set an update schedule and keep with it as best we can.

We intend to hop into the forums from time to time to say hello, but we want to make sure that the expectation is we will respond when we can, but it won’t be to every request for daily updates.

 

So, we are going to keep moving forward with the Marketplace being our first project to complete followed by uploading and delivering the NFTs in the marketplace.
